Rocko’s Modern Life officially premiered 25 years ago on this day in 1993. I don’t know why , but I quite enjoy this cartoon.

That poor Holden Gemini, I did not notice Rocko's accent when I was 6. I don't know why I associate this car with the Chevrolet Spectrum, perhaps it has to do with the Isuzu Trooper love I had as a child and the general Isuzu obsession I have now at 29?

I think I see a fair bit of original Skoda Octavia (with less of the style) and Trabant in there; at least, that’s what I’ve thought in recent years...

This story is loosely similar to what happened to me last Friday when my car died... as in call-the-scrapper-died. Except I accepted that it died, didn’t try to fix it and got $200 for it from the scrapper.
